very sad day

Sadly must tell our blog friends that Emma went to the rainbow bridge today after  over a year of being treated for CKF and  the last 10 months suffering through seizures. We will miss our baby girl. She gave us 16 years of love and fun and adventure.

Enjoying some sun while I can.  And my human brother's doggie, Jill, on a visit here with us. I tolerated her for a few days. I'm doing ok but have lost about half my weight and some days don't feel too well but Mom is taking care and feeds me with a feeding syringe when I won't eat like I should.  We go for a walk when we can and weather permits.  Happy thoughts to all.

I'm helping MM clean out her sock drawer and organize!  They needed some patting down.

Quiet Christmas

We got through Christmas and it was nice and quiet with just MM and MD. They were disappointed that there wasn't any snow this year.  I had a little problem the Saturday before Christmas...a kind of bad seizure which scared all of us. And I was kind of wonky after since I didn't know what was going on. But I've been ok since. MM keeps trying to get me to eat more since my meds are sprinkled on the food but sometimes I just don't feel like eating much. 
  I have been watching birds outside. MD put more seed out for them and tries to keep water, too, but it keeps freezing.   Not much else right now...just want some snow!

We haven't been on here in a while...MM's health and mine. I've been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and take meds and vitamin supplement daily, but I'm still going strong. Still watching critters when they are around but mostly like to lay in the sun and nap.

 Watching some more of my wild life buddies. Always something to see here.

Saturday rest

Spring???

It's supposed to be spring but we had a 4 to 4.5 in. snow yesterday and last night. I had to get out and see for myself!

Just relaxing while MM fiddles with her camera again...

MM's mom and her furbaby, Maxi, on Christmas day. They had a good visit even though I didn't get to go. I don't like to go in the car!!!

Had to get out and enjoy the sun for a few minutes. We were stuck in the house for a week because of cold and snow. It was nice but still pretty cold.

It's super cold here this week...like -3 this morning. I'm sticking close to MM on the sofa with our blanket!

We almost forget to send this as I have been very  upset... my 'cousin' Jilly is visiting and I am  not a happy cat! Jilly is a doggy and I don't like doggies so have been staying in MM's room either under the bed or in it. Mom did take me out for a walk which was ok but there is snow everywhere.  Anyway, hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving!!

A very cold day in Colorado

Found the best place to be on a day like this...in MM bed!

Fe fi fo fum...I smell something on the run!!  Turned  out it was a dead mouse that I sniffed out but MM wouldn't let me touch it!
