New Boy in the family

We have a new little boy floofy in the family. MM's mother adopted a cute little furbaby last Friday and named him Maximum (Max). He's got very unique coloring and is very sweet and cuddly and playful, or so I've been told. I won't get to meet him until he is thoroughly checked out with the vet. The proud parent is so happy to have a new, sweet kitten after the loss of her last furchild in Sept. '08. As usual, the new kitten brightens up the whole household.

Sunday

MM and MD are disgustedly watching some dumb game on the tv and making terrible noises! And it's all about some cowboys and indians... Oh, well. I'll just go find a quiet sunny spot for a bath and a nap. But will YOU PEOPLE KEEP IT DOWN IN THERE PLEASE!

Costume attempt

MM attempted to make me a Halloween costume today...did not turn out well. I was supposed to look like a pink leopard but apparently she is not much of a seamstress! At least not for cats. I tried to hide in shame but she found me. Thankfully she took pity on me and got the 'costume' off quickly. Think I will hide until Halloween is over in case she gets any more ideas. Yikes! here she comes. I gotta go.

Chilly Sunday

Today is a day for cuddling in our chair or even in bed...chilly all over.I was all warm with MM in the chair but she had to get up and do somethin' so here I am. BRRRR
Gotta keep the furs all fluffed today. Maybe running up and down the stairs a while will help. Or just staying put would be best. hmmm What do all you other frigid floofies do when you are cold?

Wordless Wednesday

Friday AGAIN

Don't know where the days went, but they did! And now it's Friday again. Today has been a very good day because MM opened up the house and the sun is shining and I can stay at the back door and watch. No other critters yet but if they come, I'm ready. There are birdies singing but they are hidden in the trees.
MM and I played in the floor with my sparkly toy on a stick, and I also got a good rub-down and fluff-up. At lunch there was some nice nibbles with catnip on the side...mmmmeeow! That's so good.
Got to go now and get some more sunbeams on my fur and face... and dream of happy little fishies!
