Argh! Me Floofies, and shiver your timbers!

Help! They are torturing me!

MM and MD ganged up on me today and put 'nail caps' on my front toeses!! I'm not quite sure why except they said something about the new sofa! I had just gotten the old sofa the way I wanted it...all comfy and slightly worn around the edges. I do have several scratching posts that are good too, but the sofa shredded so nicely! Well, we will see how this works out and maybe I can figure out how to get the caps off. Any hints will be greatly appreciated.

Still Adjusting

Our new home is really great with lots of windows, and lots of birds, and deer and stuff! I keep telling MM that I want to go outside and I really try to walk around but the grass looks so good...gotta nibble. MM and MD let me find my own napping spots so I picked out a few...a closet at night and under the computer desk when the sun shines there. I also like the rocking chair by MD in the living room. It's hard not to get to be an outside cat and I nag enough but they say there are too many bigger critters that might get me.

I pulled a good trick on them this morning while they were out on the deck. I climbed up on my condo and then jumped to the upper windows above the door and walked back and forth over the beams to the window sills. You should have seen their faces!! MD got my picture up there. Cool, but kind of scarey too!

My New Mountain Home

We got partially moved, and will finish this next week. So much to see and do here.

Helping MM and MD with Packing

Boxes-boxes-boxes everywhere!

THIS IS THURSDAY...WHO KNEW??

It's crazy around here! MM and MD have been pulling everything out of closets, drawer, cabinets and putting it all in boxes. I kind of stay out of the way so they don't put me in a box. Under the futon has become my bedroom for a while 'cause they can't get me so easy under there. Hope they finish all this soon or I may have to leave.

Monday Mewsings

Today was an off day for me...just kind of cranky and needy. I wanted MM to sit with me all day and she was busy doin' silly stuff like ironing and washing and stuff. Finally she sat down for a little while but then had to fix dinner. Think she was frustrated with me because she got out my 'calming collar' and made me wear it. But I also got some catnip too. Guess it's the heat (or just a moody day).
