Hiding from the Mamu

MM's mom who is called Mamu by my people-brothers was here for a few days. I am NOT fond of her which MM finds funny. She says that her mom has always had cats and THEY liked her but I am not sure I believe that! Humph! Anyway I stayed away from her and hid in MM's room and closet when necessary. Especially liked the sock basket as you can see.

Very Scary visitor

Yesterday afternoon MD heard something on our deck so went to check on it!! MEOOOW! I got scared, and MM and MD got the cameras. Goofy peoples! After getting their pictures, MD went out to chase the big hairy thing away, and take down the hummingbird's feeders!

Wednesday

We've been away for a little while 'cause MM has been furry busy working on her family tree but I don't know where it is...must not look like my climbing tree.

For those who asked - the Colorado fires were north of us and we just had a little smoke from them. Lately we have been having afternoon rains which everyone is very happy about.

I stay busy watching my 'chipmunk tv' and lots of pretty birds! Hope everyone is having a nice summer.

We like to sit on the deck and watch hummingbirds come in to their feeders. I had been sitting in my tent to watch but the wind blew it down and messed it up...now I find an available lap to sit in.

Cozy and Quiet

Found a new place to nap that is cozy and private but when MM found me there she wasn't happy. Wonder why?

While out sunning on the porch, my little friend Chipper made an appearance carrying a mouth full of grass. He ran up and down the stairs, and back and forth on the side walk just watching me. He even came up closer-2 steps below me -and stood up and looked me in the eye!  Good thing MM had me on my leash....

Spring time!

We have been out of commission for a while because MM and MD were down with pneumonia but are much better now. This afternoon we went out on the porch for a while to soak up some sun and watch the critters. So nice!

Tired Tuesday

Tree sittin'

Yesterday while on a 'carry about' with MM (She walks, I get carried!) she put me on a branch in a BIG tree. Exciting but scary. Just wore me out as you can tell by the pictures from after the carry about!

Clutz Cat

Today I'm (MM) writing about Emma. She went on a tear running all over, then climbed her condo, and jumped up into the high windows in our living room. Then she started to run back and forth jumping over the beams in between but miscalculated and fell about 8 feet to the floor. Fortunately she is ok and was just a little shaken. Don't think she will try that again-I hope. I had just taken this picture before her run at the beam.
