MM's mom who is called Mamu by my people-brothers was here for a few days. I am NOT fond of her which MM finds funny. She says that her mom has always had cats and THEY liked her but I am not sure I believe that! Humph! Anyway I stayed away from her and hid in MM's room and closet when necessary. Especially liked the sock basket as you can see.

We hide when most people come here. We have gotten use to all the grand kids, though!
I did not like my human's parents either! Other visitors, I will eventually come and check out, but they were weird and smelled funny.
I understand what you mean. I hid from "certain" humans, too.
